First Day
After starting your first day in Kastamonu with a traditional breakfast, you can visit the Republic Square, the Kastamonu Government House, and the City History Museum. Here you can climb up the Saat Tower in order to enjoy the best view of the city. In the city centre you can visit the Münire Madrasa Handicraft Bazaar, Yılanlı Darüşşifa, and Liva Paşa Mansion Ethnography Museum.
After having your lunch in one of the local restaurants, you can also visit the Archeology Museum, the Kastamonu Castle, the Rock Tomb-Houses, and the Republic Museum, and then continue to the İsmail Bey Complex and the Handicraft Bazaar for shopping before ending your first day.
Second Day
The second day program could be a visit to the Küre Mountains and the Kastamonu coast-side. Take off early in the morning towards the Küre Mountains and go hiking in the Ersizlerdere Canyon. While enjoying the Canyon view, have Ecevit Soup for breakfast.
After visiting the Akşemseddin Mosque and other historical works in the Küre District, you can set out to İnebolu and explore the red ochre painted İnebolu Houses. Afterwards you could take a break with a cup of coffee under the 6 centuries old tree plane in the Beldeğirmeni Village, and continue to see the amazing nature of Abana, where the green and blue meet. After touring the Ginolu Castle and the beach, you can set off back to Kastamonu centre, passing under the shadow of Yaralıgöz Mountain.
